1. Three people were executed in Isfahan – Two women and one man have been executed in the central prison of Isfahan. The Iranian human rights organization reports about at least 12 executions in Iran during the past two weeks.
2. Jumhouri Islami: “there is a need to confront Israel’s increasing influence in the region” – Jumhouri Islami published an analytical report entitled “The Need to Confront Israel’s Increasing Influence in the Region” in which it analyzes the historical context of “Zionist plans” to spread their influence and gain territory in the Middle East, and their current position and strategy in the face of the “resistance” put up by the Palestinians and their “real” supporters: Iran and Hezbollah. One hundred thousand Basij militiamen to gather in the Azadi Stadium to celebrate “Basij Week” – According to IRGC Commander in Tehran Province, Hossein Hamedani, 100 thousand Basij militiamen from Tehran Province will gather in the Azadi Stadium on November 26, on the occasion of Basij week. Hamedani said the IRGC in Tehran managed to recruit 1.5 million volunteers to the Basij organizational framework.
5. 109 organizations demand that the UN condemn human rights violations in Iran – A call upon the UN to adopt a resolution condemning Iran for violating human rights, and urging it to keep the rules and regulations related to human rights, was addressed by 109 independent organization protecting human rights around the world.
6. A priest was arrested after condemning the decision to impose recitation of Quranic verses on Christian pupils – Yousef Nedrkhani, the priest of the Christian community in northern Iran, was arrested a month ago, after denouncing the decision to impose recitation of Quranic verses on Christian pupils. The priest was not allowed to meet his family ever since he was arrested. This is the second time Nedrkhani is arrested, the first time being three years ago on the account of “compromising national security”.
7. Defense Minister: “Russia is still committed to deliver S-300 to Iran; will dispatch the cargo as soon as technical problems are resolved” – Iranian Defense Minister, Ahmad Vahidi, said that “Russia blames the delay in the delivery of the anti-aircraft S-300 missile system to Iran on technical problems”. Vahidi added that “We expected our Russian friends to act upon the contents of the contract in due time”, and reiterated that “The issue will be pursued through negotiations.”
8. Javan: “Let the Russians go! We will complete Bushehr ourselves” –Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee member, Mahmoud Ahmadi Biqash, said the Russians would never complete the power plant and Iranians should do that themselves. (Javan, November 18)
9. Qods: “Iran must not accept the ongoing violations of Russia’s obligations, but rather force Russia to meet them” – The official Conservative newspaper Qods published an editorial entitled “The Biggest Mistake of the Russians” saying that Iran must not accept or take lightly the continuing delays on behalf of Russia in completing the construction of the Bushehr nuclear reactor. The editorial further said that Russia must have thought that Iran was internationally isolated, hence its laxness in meeting its obligations; and yet Iran must take this issue seriously and force Russia to meet its obligations.
10. Aftab Yazd harshly criticizes Ahmadinejad government’s “feebleness” toward the Russians, Chinese and Arab states – Aftab Yazd welcomes the revelations of foreign news reports on issues such as a recent gas deal with Turkey and Russia’s refusal to deliver missiles to Iran. The editor says these are issues that Iranians would not otherwise find out about as the state media conceals or ignores them in line with government policies. The editorial cites these reports and other international events as examples of Ahmadinejad government’s feebleness towards the Russians, Chinese and Arab states and says that all these countries are hostile to Iran and take advantage of its weaknesses. 11. Companies from China and Belarus to invest US$ 4.71B in two oil fields – The Iranian government approved a US$ 4.71B capital investment of companies from China and Belarus in two oil fields: Yadavaran and Jofir. The development of these two oil fields will bring about the production of 110 thousand oil barrels.
12. An Iranian trade center to open in Shanghai, China – Next Friday will mark the opening of an Iranian trade center in Shanghai, China. The center, planed to act as an Iranian commercial representation, will be subject to the supervision of both the Iranian and Chinese chambers of commerce. The center will aim at developing the bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of capital investments.
13. Attacks on Saudi Arabia continue: senior Iranian cleric blames the Saudi royal family of acting against Quran and murdering Shiites in Yemen – Talking before IRGC officers, Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani said monarchy has no justification in Islamic law, as the regime must be simple and humble. He blamed the Saudi kings of abusing the Quran, saying that the Saudi monarchy sells copies of the Quran, but does not adhere to Islamic law whatsoever. Grand Ayatollah Hammedani defined Wahhabism as a heretic sect and said Saudi is busy murdering Shiites in Yemen with the support of the US. On another
subject, Grand Ayatollah Hamedani referred to President Obama’s visit to China and Russia, and blamed these two countries of two-facedness. He added that the Iranian government must not be deceived by their “strategic smiles”.
14. Jumhouri Islami: “Collaborationist Fatah has deluded itself for decades about the prospects for peace with Israel; now after sobering it may prove positive by opening the way for the line of resistance” – Jumhouri Islami published an editorial entitled “End of the Road for Compromise”, in which it assumed the end of the dialog process which Fatah began with Israel in the 1990s. It stated that the intransigence of the Israelis and their lack of interest in peace have become evident even to Fatah. It added that the “collaborationist” faction had “deluded” itself for decades about the prospects of peace. The editorial said this might prove positive by “opening the way for the line of resistance against Israel”. (Jumhouri Islami, November 18)
15. Philippine president invites Ahmadinejad to visit Manila – The official invitation was handed to the Iranian Foreign Minister during his recent visit to the country. The Philippine president expressed her content with the visit of Iran’s Foreign Minister and termed it “a new step toward stabilizing and expanding the relations between the two countries”.
16. Basij militiamen confront protesting students in Khaje Nasir University – film.

Former Minister assailed by students again, this time in Karaj University – Safar Harandi, the former Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, tried to deliver another speech, this time in Karaj University; however, like in his previous attempts to address students, he was met with anti-regime slogans and could not complete his speech. 18. Students of the Science and Technology University went on hunger strike demanding the release of their schoolmate – Students of the Science and Technology University went on hunger strike last Tuesday in demand to release their fellow student, Pouya Sharifi, who had been arrested on November 4 and held in isolation ever since. The students vowed to continue the protest until his release. See film.
19. Majlis is looking into the “suspicious death” of the Kahrizak physician – The Majlis Health Committee said it wanted to examine the case of Dr. Ramin Pourandarjan’s “unusual death”, following requests from his colleagues. A member of the committee added that late Dr. Pourandarjan worked shifts at the Kahrizak detention center on behalf of the Internal Security Forces. The Committee demanded that the Forensic Pathology Institute performed an autopsy, since heart attack is an unusual cause of death for a person of relatively young age and good health condition. Post-election detainee sentenced to two years in prison and 76 lashes – Kambiz Norouzi, one of the Iranian citizens arrested during the post-election protests, was sentenced by a Revolutionary Court to two years in prison and 76 lashes. He was found guilty of propagating against the regime, attempting to compromise national security and disrupting public order.
21. A violent confrontation between Iranian journalists and one of the founders of Hezbollah who became pro-Reformist, during his visit to Syria – A violent confrontation broke out in Syria between Iranian journalists of Reheraja News and IRNA on the one hand, and Mohtashemi-Pour, a former Iranian ambassador to Syria and one of the founders of Lebanese Hezbollah on the other. During a visit to Syria, Mohtashemi who had turned his back on Ahmadinejad’s government and become a supporter of the Reformist faction, was asked how he regarded the slogan “neither Lebanon nor Gaza, I’ll sacrifice my life for Iran only” chanted Reformists in recent Qods Day demonstrations in Iran. In response, Mohtashemi tried to grab the reporter’s recording machine. Iranian journalists on the scene assailed Mohtashemi, saying he is just like any other of Mousavi’s men, whose supporters come from among “the gay people of northern Tehran”. For the rest of the visit, Mohtashemi tried to avoid the Iranian journalists, and even took off his turban to attract less attention; however he was confronted by IRNA journalists near the Shrine of Sitt Zeinab. The journalists blamed Mohtashemi of selling out his faith by joining to the Reformist faction and “the mouthpiece of Zionist propaganda”. One of the Iranian journalists who confronted Mohtashemi, Hamid Davodabadi, wrote about the incident in his blog and transcribed the exchange of words with Mohtashemi.
22. A Baha’i student expelled from university – Pedram Qanbari, a student at the University of Semnan, was expelled from the university due to his adherence to the Baha’i faith. The university’s administration informed him that he could return only if he abandoned his religion.
23. Protests against recurring delays in the Metro service expand to include anti-regime slogans and sabotaging of wagons – According to reports from recent days, many of Tehran residents use the poor service of the city’s Metro as a pretext to protest against the Iranian regime. Citizens chant anti-regime slogans, and in some cases even sabotaged trains
24. Neda Agha Soltan’s fiancé talks about the pressure and intimidations her family suffered after her death – In an interview to the Observer, Kaspyan Makan, Neda Agha Solatan’s fiancé, described the threats, pressure and intimidations exerted on her family following her death, which had made her an opposition icon. Kaspyan Makan himself escaped Iran after he had been arrested and held in isolation for two months. He said all her family members and relatives had received life threats and some had been arrested.

l’Iran conteste petit à petit mais comment contrer ces fous d’un dieu qui n’en a rien a faire de leurs supplications de destruction,d’un dieu qui ne leur a pas demandé d’être fou de lui,d’un dieu qui a crée le corps de la femme en ne pensant pas que “chaque” homme qui la regarderait aurait des intentions détournées Inch Allah..Allah Akbar : “viens m’aider à hair,à tuer tout qui aurait l’air d’être contre toi”,je dirais contre MOI Ayatolli,Ayatallah…quel enfermement.. comment le peuple peut il être si soumis à un tel dictat?
